Problem in visual studio 2005

Question

hi,
   i am new to visual studio 2005.if i open a new asp.net application and put any control over the form. then i unable to move the controls from that place. it is not happening in windows forms.Not only that in the design page i can see the blinking cursor(what happen when we open a word or notepad).
kindly clear the errors
