purposes of using ENUM and SET data types

Hi Dipa Mehta, I work on WPF,WCF,Oracle currently let me explain how enums are useful realtime application.

In my application we added Save, Modify, Delete, View, Remove, RemoveAll buttons, i have one HelperClass in which i have added few enums, example: ButtonAction etc. When click on button commandparameter passes this particular enum for example if click on Save button 'Save' from ButtonAction enum will be pass as parameter through WPF window application -> WCF->ADO.NET->MYSQL to do particular action in db side.
