Question about connectionString

How do I bring up directly from code the wizard "Data link properties", i need this to be able to configure a connection string later from the application?

This might help if you want to do it in VB.net. Create a process and execute a UDL file. This then makes windows use the wizard if the file type UDL on the machine is set to use "Microsoft Data Access - OLE DB Core Services". The UDL file could then be read in to extract the connection string. Dim p As New Process with p .StartInfo.UseShellExecute = True .StartInfo.FileName = "c:\aa.udl" .Start() end with Cheers, Si
