Read .ai files from C# winforms

Thanks for the post. Managed to read an illustrator file using adobe.illustrator com library but that instance is not working on server. (for example : its throwing an security exception on IIS instance). I am trying with other options. Fingers Crossed :)

I don't have idea to read the dataset.. First time I don't know how to read the .ai files at initial stage and i raised the same in this forum.. But everyone was reading my post not replying.. I already tried with coreldraw files(.cdr files) and completed that R&D successfully. the same way i started .ai files by changing corel draw references and objects.. I spent one day for debugging.. Finally I acheived what output I have assigned for..

 

Only the way is debugging and looking for the object properties you can achieve the same

This is good article how to read ai file at first place. Do you have an idea how to read further more information from an illustrator file, ForExample : How can i read the dataset from an illustrator file if it has a graph data on it.

Hi All,

 

Finally I got the solution to read the .ai files.

 

First we need to add Adobe illustrator through references as mention in below fig.

 

 

then we need to include adobe illustrator in our project file.

  

using Illustrator;

 

Th below method I have written for reading .ai files , find Text box Co ordinates and converting the .ai files into different type of image formats

Note : This code will work only if the Adobe illustrator software is installed. I installed trial version to try this.

 

Here I am able to get only the Top and left of the Text boxes . But What I want exactly is I need to find X,Y coordinates i.e center position of the text box..If any one find the way please share with me
