Reading XML data from URL in Web API.

I have Url i can download Xml file from that URL ,xml file contains Gb's data So without down loading xml file ,How can i read Data from that URL and Insert into SQL DB.

Exactly its not my requirement

I want to read xml data node by node from httpweb response using streamreader and insert into SqlDB.

attaching my code please check and give me sample how to do it.

You can read xml data from url by using either XmlDocument or XmlTextReader.
