Retrieve the old value and New Value

No you don’t have to put all the value in hidden field i am just saying that only put the primary key value into the hidden field before updating the old value query the select statement Like select * from table_name where columnname= value And put the value into the variable and then update the old and new value

You get the old value from the database with the help of primary key value which you can put hidden field and then compare the new and old value.
