Run exe using jquery

Hey,

please hep me out to run any exe from my local using jquery.

I searched a lot but no solution found.

Francis is correct. it is not possible using jquery. Not only jquery. It's for any client side script. Even if you try using any server side script, it will only happen on your server.

Yes. I know. That's why i told it's not possible. I gave that URL to prove my point (take a look at the member "Oded" reply.).

I have a button in my sandbox solution(SharePoint). At button click i want to run Notepad. Or I have an HTML file and on button click I want to call notepad either using Jquery or Javascript.

Since you are dealing with web page, this is not possible. For reference:

First of all, JQuery is a Javascript library, which is used in web applications like ASP.Net. Normally, from web application, you can't run any exe, due to some security issues.

If you tell your requirement exactly, we can analyze the other ways.
