Doing something like this can probably done in two parts: obtaining the image from the camera, and recognizing the QR barcode. To obtain the image, you can use something like in the article here: https://www.kirupa.com/html5/accessing_your_webcam_in_html5.htm Though it regards webcam on Desktop, I was able to use it on mobile with a mobile camera. For recognizing the QR code, you could use something like the BarcodeEngine (https://www.leadtools.com/help/sdk/v21/dh/ba/barcodeengine.html) class from the LEADTOOLS toolkit (which is what I am familiar with, since I work with the vendor). The code for recognizing the barcode would look like this: using (RasterCodecs _codecs = new RasterCodecs()) { using (RasterImage image = _codecs.Load(QRImage)) { BarcodeEngine engine = new BarcodeEngine(); BarcodeData[] barcode = engine.Reader.ReadBarcodes(image, LeadRect.Empty, 5, new BarcodeSymbology[] { BarcodeSymbology.QR }); } }
