Security in .net core

I wnat to use system.web.security.membership and HashAlgorithm.Create(Membership.HashAlgorithmType) in .net core. .Because in my older system I had used both now I am noving to .net core side.

Can anyone please suggest for the same?

I have a similar problem. I inherited an application that uses System.Web.Security. From that library, the app uses MembershipUser, Membership & Roles. Is anyone aware of a third party library that provide similar functionality?

I don't think there is an alternative to system.web.security.membership in asp.net core.
ASP.NET Membership is hooked in the old pipeline. Since the old pipeline was ripped, then no compatibility.
For HashAlgorithm.Create(Membership.HashAlgorithmType) you can get the methods which Membership algorithm uses to hash passwords.
