Setup Project - Creating a program menu shortcut

Simple question; how do I create the program menu shortcut in a setup program.

In the file system I right click the entry 'User's Program Menu' but the shortcut that it creates is one to open up a folder rather than to launch the application. I can create this OK on the entry 'User's Desktop'.

Can someone point me in the right direction

create a shorcut for your exe and drag it on to the user program menu , you can create a folder on upper level if you want to distinguish it seperately by a name

To create shortcut of your application, you have to create shortcut of exe in application folder then dragging that shortcut to 'User's Desktop' folder. By doing this way your application will be initialized not the folder opened.
