showing a default value in Drop Down in MVC

Hi

 

Can you please let me know how to show the default value in drop down when the page loads initially. The values are coming from the database and are shown added to drop down alphabetically. But I have to show one of them as a default one when page loads initially..?

 

Can you please answer my question ASAP.
