Spawning a New Form

No you don't. You don't have to have a code module dedicated to your mainform, either. Myself, I add UI elements programmatically as I hate to depend on designer-generated code.

Hi, thanks for your reply, I will try it. I do not have to start a new file (form2.cs) to write/place the code into do I? I would prefer to put the code in the same file (form1.cs) if possible. Thank You, G

Hi Assuming you have two form classes: Form1 (main form) and Form2... Inside a buttons click event handeler: Form2 f2 = new Form2(); f2.ShowDialog(); // or // f2.Show(); Maybe it's necessairy to have a Form2 instance in the Form1. Depends on your app. Simon
