hi every one

i am face a problem how to select data in single column in two different column

example

[Field Name]

Amount

300

200

-5000

4250

-600

required result :-

amount1 amount 2

300 -5000

200 -600

4250

You might try this...

DECLARE @Temp TABLE

amount INT
)
INSERT INTO @Temp VALUES (300);
INSERT INTO @Temp VALUES (200);
INSERT INTO @Temp VALUES (-5000);
INSERT INTO @Temp VALUES (4250);
INSERT INTO @Temp VALUES (-600);

DECLARE @outTemp TABLE
(
ID INT IDENTITY,
amount1 INT,
amount2 INT
);

INSERT INTO @outTemp(amount1)
SELECT amount FROM @Temp WHERE amount>1

UPDATE @outTemp SET amount2=-5000 WHERE ID=1
UPDATE @outTemp SET amount2=-600 WHERE ID=2
SELECT * FROM @outTemp
