hi my microcontroller board sends with serial port to my pc the strings pool1#1251 , pool2#1252, pool3#1253, pool4#1254

i wand in pc C# software to read

RxString = serialPort1.ReadLine();

i have done this but i wand :

if the string starts with pool1 then to add in intiger int=p1 the 1251 number

if the string starts with pool2 then to add in intiger int=p2 the 1252 number

if the string starts with pool3 then to add in intiger int=p3 the 1253 number

if the string starts with pool4 then to add in intiger int=p4 the 1254 number

i think u can modify to display as string.. jus delete the integer conversion routine..simply display the sub string.. if u need further assistance .. let me know

thanks for youre ansuer but i must change my program so i wand to display in text box as text not to convert to intiger

if the string starts with pool2 then to display on textbox4 the 1252 as text

if the string starts with pool3 then to display on textbox5 the 1253 as text

if the string starts with pool4 then to display on textbox6 the 1254 as text
