Starting an application on a remote machine

If you guys know OOP concepts then you will understand what i am saying next. Well i think .NET Remoting is a concept where there is DLL in the remote terminal which is built from a C# Class. And using Remoting one can create an instance(object) of that class on the remote machine on the local machine (your machine). It is something like a distributed system (not exactly). The concepts are similar to RPCs and RMIs in Distributed System. You can refer the examples given in the Remoting section of the C# Corner. If the thing you wanted was to run an EXE file on the remote machine, then I am not the guy you are looking for. If you want more on Remoting, you can mail me : [email protected]

Sunmax have you taken a look at the System.Runtime.Remoting System.Runtime.Remoting.Channels System.Runtime.Remoting.Channels.Tcp System.Runtime.Remoting.Channels.Http namespaces? These namespaces contain the classes needed to assist you in .NET Remoting. Sorry if this doesn't provide enough information for you. I just started studying .NET Remoting myself!!
