text to colums + C#

I am sorry that my question was not that clear. I'll try again. I have in one colums text that looks like this : 100,8548,2133,999,15482.81 I would like to separate these numbers and put them in different colums so the output must be : In column B : 100 C: 8548 D: 2133 E: 999 F: 15482.81 I think this can be done with the function TextToColums but I cannot get it working. Hi You said that you want to fit your data into separate columns in excel..then you said that you just want to separate values by commas !!! Anyway...Assuming that u have the columns in a datatable for example, Make an outer loop for rows then an inner one for columns...then use an index to get the current column and then add a comma string myDataSeparatedByComma = ""; foreach(DataRow r in dt.Rows) for(int i = 0; i < dt.Columns.Count; i++) { myDataSeparatedByComma += (r[i].ToString()+","); } Good luck
