To send smtp email via System.Net.Mail .

Can we send email without credential.If customer is ready to give their password.how to send email in this case?

Hi, Generally, you need SMTP credentials to send email. In your case you can do in two ways: 1. Save credentials in webconfig or a configuration table. Then read that credentials and use it while sending email. var getSmptCredentials = GetFunctionForCredential(); // get form email and password from webconfig or DB. No, you can't send mail without credentials. Also, the credential has nothing to do with customer, The webmaster's credential or the organization's official credentials are used. The Customers just give their email to receive mail.

Hi, without credential you can't send send email.Best way is encrypt the password and save it to configuration table or webconfig file and while using it decrypt the password. It will be safe.
