Tollbar with FontAwesome

In a xamarin app, I need to create toolbar in code using csharp and FontAwesome. I can do that in xaml. I am looking a way to do that in code. I will greatly appreciate if someone can share a working code snippet. Seen some pseudo code that does not work. Stuck without it.
