I am new in windows store apps development. i just want to know that what are the prerequisite for developing windows store apps.. like version of visual studio and .net framework, operating system & license , and please give me a simple demo of creating windows store apps.

The following environment needed to develop stores app.
Visual Studio version - 2012 (4.5) for Universal app you need VS2013 with update 2
OS - Windows 8 and above
License - Windows Store developing license (free just to ensure the activity)
Store host account - need an account in Windows stores to publish your app https://dev.windows.com/en-us
