Hi nithi mano, If you are using ngModel with textarea then please try this. But make sure Trimming functions remove whitespace from the beginning and/or end of a string. If You want remove white space from whole the string then please try second function. In Your Html : textarea (blur)=" Address = trimming_fn (Address)" [(ngModel)]="Address" > textarea > In Your TypeScripe : Address :string = '' ; // this will remove only beginning and end of string whitespace. trimming_fn(x) { return x ? x.replace(/^\s+|\s+$/gm, '' ) : '' ; }; // this will remove whole whitespace from the string trimming_fn(x) { return x ? x.replace(/\s/g, '' ) : '' ; };
