TF31002: Unable to connect to this Team Foundation Server: 'Your TFS Server'.
Team Foundation Server Url: 'Your TFS Server URL'.

Possible reasons for failure include:
- The Team Foundation Server name, port number or protocol is incorrect.
- The Team Foundation Server is offline.
- Password is expired or incorrect.

Note :

I have installed VS 2005 in my system.

Hi,
If you open the TFS link in IE and install the certificate from follow the below link because TFS is working on HTTPS protocol and your machine does not have certificate to connect with SSL.

i have zero idea in SVN . Can i able to do the same thing SVN, whatever i am trying to do in TFS ?
If Yes, then shall i need to download it from Internet or anything else .

I am using VS 2005 and connecting to TFS 2010 .

I receive this error when i try to connect to an on-premises TFS from client computer but online i can able to access through same URL.

Did you try with SVN or not ?
if yes than what is can you share the screenshot of an issue in SVN?

Hi Sandeep.
I have tried the same thing in online . Its working greate but same thing i tried in TFS but no luck .
Is there any problem in configuration or patches related issues ?

Hi, Firstly check the port, Username, password and server name is correct or not? Try to connect tfs server with other tool like SVN if still same issue with SVN than check the Tfs server with your It person. Thanks
