What exactly do you mean by source? Are you referring to a Web Cam?

How exactly do you record or capture the videos?

Do you use a specific end-user application to record your videos?

If you just want to record videos from different sources and you want an end-user application, you can try the AMCAP video capture utility. You can get it from this page:

But if you want to develop a custom video capture device, I think leadtools has a video capture control that might help you to record videos from different sources and detect their status. You can find more information here.

What I mean is there are paid video clips. If I record it, I wish to know whether person upload it able to detect that recording is going on.
