Visual Inheritance

I am going to use visual inheritance in my project. I am a little worried about the placement of controls on the base form moving to different locations when it is inherited (I have seen this in the past). Is there any way I can lock down the locations of my controls on the base form? Are there any other issues I need to worry about? Thanks in advance.

I am trying it. So far so good. I did run into an issue where the form I was inheriting from was not being displayed in the designer. The problem was I did not have a default constructor with that called the InitializeComponent method. Evidently, this is how the ide generates the base form in design view. I am just surprised that there is not a lot of articles or discussion about visual inheritance. Anway...Thanks.

My forms are inherited from other forms with controls, and i haven't seen this problem yet. Give it a try, I'm sure you will find everything will work properly.
