what is a handy vm environment voor developing c sharp code?

I am working on a MAC using Bootcamp for Windows 10. But I don't want to use any of the 2 environments for software developing. I need to install Visual studio.

SInce you are using Mac Machine, So you can use VMWare provided by Oracle or Can use HyperV of Windows 10

Yes. I think you can give it a try. You can install it as a third environment for just software development.

I like to have a separate environment for only software developing. I do not want to use the MAC or W10 environment. I think I need a third environment. You think I can use Virtualbox for that? And install it on MAC or on W10?

Hi,
I have not worked on Mac. But I have heard from people VirtualBox is best virtualization software(atleast better than bootcamp).
Parallels Desktop can also be an option.
