why ajax calender need text box
is this necesssary to use text box control on ajax calender? i have used image button but this also requires text box . what should i code when to simply pop up calender on button click without text box control.

without textbox how you will show your selected value from calender control. You must need textbox for displaying selected value and for saving purpose
