Why @angular/router version was different in Angular 2 ?

We know that Angular 3 was skipped because of version issue of @angular/router, but Why @angular/router version 3.x in plaace of 2.x was in Angular 2 ?

There was no such reason like in angular 2 with router of 3.0

Main reson is that at that time of Angular 2 , stable version of router was 3.0 so that's why router uses version of 3.0 RC

Do not think much about that , always use stable and latest version for angular version
