Window 8 support visual studio 8 or not???

There are contrasting opinions on the subject, but it seems VS2008 could run with no problems. That said, you could install more recent versions without updgrading your projects (VS2010 / VS 2012, at least, for sure, though you may want bo check the compatibility list to know if something in your projects need a particular care: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-US/library/hh266747(v=vs.110)).
