Reputation & Rank of Author's are incorrect

I have seen reputation and rank are incorrect, like i have 4.7k points showing rank as 322 , and other authors reputation point is 4.9k and rank is 323 so value is not appropriate , for lesser reputation rank is showing lesser and for more reputation rank is more and few have reputation point but no contribution to community but still rank shows some count which shouldn't.
