We are seeking an experienced Android Developer/Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in Kotlin, Android SDK, and Android Studio, with a deep understanding of architectural patterns like MVVM and MVP. This role demands strong analytical and debugging skills, as well as proficiency in Agile delivery and various Android-specific technologies and tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain advanced applications for the Android platform.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
- Ensure the application is compliant with the latest Android API versions.
- Integrate third-party services and social networking sites into the applications.
- Publish applications to the App Store and manage updates and version control.
Must-Have Skills
- Kotlin. Solid 6+ years of experience
- Android SDK & Android Studio. Expert-level proficiency
- Core Java. Strong understanding and experience
- Jetpack Compose. 1-2 years of solid experience
- Architectural Patterns. Strong understanding and implementation of MVVM and MVP
- Agile Development. Extensive experience in Agile delivery methodologies
- Networking Libraries. Proficient in Retrofit, Volley
- RESTful APIs. Strong experience in integrating REST APIs
- Database Management. Proficient with Room DB
- Versioning Tools. Experience with GIT, GitHub, Bitbucket
- Project Management Tools. Proficient in JIRA
- Design Patterns & SOLID Principles. Strong understanding and application
- Unit Testing. Experience with JUnit, Mockito, Espresso
- CI/CD. Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment practices
- Image Loading & Caching. Experience with Glide, Picasso
- Push Notifications & DeepLinks. Hands-on experience
- Socket.IO. Knowledge and implementation experience
