As an Application Developer at Accenture, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to meet specific business processes and application requirements. This role involves leveraging your technical expertise to create robust, high-quality applications that drive business success. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals and quality standards throughout the application lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Application Development. Design and implement scalable applications using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Sites. Configure and customize AEM components to align with business needs.
- Testing and Quality Assurance. Create and execute comprehensive test plans, including functional, non-functional, and regression tests to ensure application quality and performance.
- Automation. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaboration. Actively participate in team discussions, contributing solutions to work-related problems and sharing insights on best practices.
- Defect Management. Identify, document, and track software defects and issues, collaborating with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Continuous Improvement. Conduct root cause analysis of defects and recommend process improvements to enhance overall quality and reduce rework.
- Industry Awareness. Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in application development and testing, applying this knowledge to improve existing processes and tools.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Sites, with extensive experience in Content Management.
- Strong functional test planning capabilities, ensuring comprehensive coverage of testing scenarios.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks, particularly Selenium.
- Familiarity with API testing and security testing methodologies.
- Deep understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience in test planning, test case design, and test execution.
- Knowledge of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and work independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a knack for collaboration and teamwork.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Sites.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
