As an Application Engineer, you will translate Googler needs into technical specifications, design and develop systems, and consult with executives to ensure seamless implementation. Your role encompasses building business applications, enhancing system reliability, defining project scopes, and overseeing execution to drive operational efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications

• 10 years of robust experience in programming, specifically in Java/Python, with proficiency in Web Services like RESTful and SOAP, and familiarity with CI/CD build tools.
• Profound experience in designing distributed systems with a focus on scalable and microservice-based architecture.
• Demonstrated expertise in architecting and integrating internal and third-party applications seamlessly.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, providing a strong foundation for technical understanding and problem-solving.
• Experience in implementing, customizing, or integrating third-party applications within enterprise software, showcasing adaptability and innovation.
• Proven track record in managing cross-functional, cross-team, or cross-geography projects, highlighting effective collaboration skills.
• Experience in multiple full-system implementation life-cycles, covering analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and support phases.

Responsibilities

• Develop technology solutions for the Engineering team, enhancing the management and processing of HR and Payroll data.
• Implement and maintain highly scalable integrations between internal and external systems.
• Lead the development of robust back-end services using a combination of custom Google technologies and capabilities.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business system leads, and program managers to clarify requirements and ensure timely execution.
• Uphold the highest standards of development practices, encompassing technical design, development, testing, documentation, issue resolution, and writing clean, modular, and sustainable code.
