Job Description

As an Application Support Engineer for the Adobe Advertising Cloud Search team, you will play a critical role in delivering outstanding technical support to our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues, ensuring our clients have a seamless experience with our advertising solutions. This role will be based in Bangalore, covering US working hours in a rotational night shift.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Technical Troubleshooting. Analyze, replicate, and resolve complex software issues reported by clients and Account Managers through various communication channels (phone, email, live chat).
  2. Collaboration. Work closely with engineering and product management teams globally to escalate and resolve critical platform issues.
  3. Customer Relationship Management. Maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers by delivering exceptional service and technical expertise.
  4. Project Coordination. Manage multiple projects of varying sizes, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups on product issues.
  5. Product Support. Provide support during the launch of new clients on the Adobe Advertising Cloud Search platform.
  6. Continuous Improvement. Participate in the development of best practices and processes to enhance customer support and platform reliability.

Qualifications

  1. Educational Background. B.E/B.Tech/MCA/M.S in Computer Science or a related field.
  2. Experience. Minimum of 3 years in a technical support or consulting role, preferably within a high-tech environment.
  3. Technical Skills. Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle), experience with Snowflake is a plus.
  4. Tool Familiarity. Exposure to monitoring tools like Prometheus, AlertManager, Grafana, and Splunk, familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Argo is advantageous.
  5. Problem-Solving Skills. Ability to creatively resolve complex development problems while ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  6. Communication Skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
