As an Application Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining the stability and efficiency of our business systems. You will act as a software detective, identifying and resolving issues across multiple system components. This role requires a keen analytical mind, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless software operations.
Your daily tasks will involve diagnosing technical issues, troubleshooting system problems, developing solutions, and providing technical support to end-users. You will also contribute to team discussions, propose innovative solutions, and continuously enhance system performance.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Become an SME (Subject Matter Expert). You are expected to take ownership of your role, gaining in-depth knowledge of EPIC Systems and providing expert-level support.
- Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution. Proactively identify, analyze, and resolve software-related issues to ensure uninterrupted system operations.
- Collaboration & Communication. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and end-users, to troubleshoot problems and implement solutions.
- Technical Support & Guidance. Provide assistance and technical guidance to end-users, ensuring they can effectively use the system without disruptions.
- Solution Implementation. Develop and implement software solutions aimed at improving overall system efficiency and performance.
- Documentation & Knowledge Sharing. Maintain comprehensive documentation of issues encountered, resolutions provided, and best practices to streamline future troubleshooting efforts.
- Continuous Improvement. Actively participate in team discussions, contribute innovative ideas, and help in optimizing existing processes for better service delivery.
Must-Have Skills & Qualifications
- EPIC Systems Expertise. Strong experience in managing, troubleshooting, and optimizing EPIC Systems.
- Technical Troubleshooting. Ability to analyze software defects, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
- Software Development & Implementation. Hands-on experience in implementing software fixes and updates.
- Database Management & SQL. Good understanding of SQL queries and database operations to support system troubleshooting and enhancements.
- IT Service Management Tools. Familiarity with tools used for tracking, diagnosing, and resolving software issues.
- Communication & Teamwork. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams and end-users.
