Project Description
Our client aims to elevate the technical quality and delivery of the Power Advisor as a Service (PaaS) application, consolidating two existing applications: Power Advisor and Server Options Compatibility. Currently available as a thick client for Windows and a web client, the goal is to modernize both applications, transforming them into services with a contemporary backend and a sleek frontend developed in ReactJS. While maintaining functionality for the Windows ecosystem, the backend will be crafted using ASP.Net. This engagement is anticipated to span several years with a focus on introducing new features to the tool.
Responsibilities
As a Backend Developer for Power Advisor as a Service, your role involves the development, modernization, maintenance, and enhancement of the backend. Your primary objective is to ensure optimal performance and seamless communication with the front end through well-optimized REST APIs and Database Services.
Mandatory Skills
- ASP.net. Proficiency in ASP.net is essential for developing the backend infrastructure of the Power Advisor as a Service application.
- ASP.net Core. A strong understanding of ASP.net Core, the modern and modular framework, is crucial for building a robust and scalable backend.
- SQL Databases. Experience with SQL databases is mandatory for efficient data storage, retrieval, and management within the application.
- REST APIs. Proven expertise in designing and implementing REST APIs is required for smooth communication between the backend and frontend components.
Desired Skills
- Familiarity with modern frontend technologies, particularly ReactJS, to facilitate collaborative development with frontend teams.
