Key Responsibilities
- AWS Environment Management. Manage and support our AWS environment, ensuring service continuity and building redundancy and failover mechanisms to guarantee optimal performance.
- Automation. Automate tasks to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and maximize ROI, contributing to the overall success of our enterprise applications and key systems.
- Handover and Issue Escalation. Take over AWS environments from project teams, identifying and escalating any issues during handover to ensure smooth transitions and ongoing support.
- Networking Configuration. Configure networking within AWS, including the creation of Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs) and subnets. Collaborate closely with the network team on subnet design to optimize performance and security.
- Deployment Pipeline Management. Utilize your extensive experience with GitLab and Git CI/CD to create and manage deployment pipelines, ensuring seamless and efficient application deployment.
- Certificate Management. Demonstrate excellent knowledge of certificates and their configuration on Elastic Load Balancers (ELB) and other services, contributing to the security and integrity of our systems.
Skills Required
- Proficiency in AWS DevOps, GitLab, and Git CI/CD.
- Extensive experience with networking configuration in AWS, including VPCs and subnets.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a track record of working effectively in cross-functional teams.
