We are looking for a highly skilled AWS Solutions Architect with extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions. This role requires an individual who can operate independently, leveraging deep technical expertise and industry best practices to create scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures. You will play a key role in designing and optimizing AWS-based solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth cloud adoption and operational excellence.
As a seasoned consultant, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality solutions that align with business objectives, ensuring best practices in cloud security, infrastructure automation, and performance optimization. This role involves working closely with development teams, operations, and stakeholders to create and implement robust cloud solutions while maintaining compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
AWS Architecture & Design
- Design and develop highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable AWS solutions tailored to business needs.
- Architect secure, high-performance, and cost-optimized AWS environments with a focus on automation and efficiency.
- Work with AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, Route 53, VPC, CloudWatch, IAM, and more to build robust cloud solutions.
Cloud Infrastructure & Automation
- Implement and manage AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK.
- Automate deployment pipelines and infrastructure provisioning to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost efficiency, reliability, and security, ensuring adherence to AWS best practices.
Migration & Modernization
- Lead the migration of on-premises applications and infrastructure to AWS, ensuring a seamless transition with minimal downtime.
- Assess existing environments, identify potential challenges, and propose modernization strategies.
Security & Compliance
- Implement cloud security best practices by configuring IAM roles, policies, encryption, and compliance frameworks.
- Ensure AWS environments align with industry security standards such as SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001, and NIST.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Work closely with development teams, product managers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical guidance.
- Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Stay up to date with the latest AWS features, services, and best practices, continuously improving cloud strategies.
Monitoring & Performance Optimization
- Set up proactive monitoring and alerting using tools like CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray, or Prometheus to ensure system reliability.
- Analyze and optimize AWS resource utilization, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks.
What We Look For
- Proven expertise in AWS cloud architecture, with hands-on experience designing and managing scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including VPC, Subnets, Load Balancers, Route 53, and Direct Connect.
- Experience with automation and DevOps tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Ability to work independently and handle complex cloud implementations with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for optimizing infrastructure performance and security.
