As an Azure Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our Deployment product area, contributing to the development of modern deployment pipelines and supporting agile practices. Your work will ensure high-quality backend frameworks and deployment solutions that are critical to SimCorp’s success.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Development. Take ownership of the design, development, and maintenance of Azure-hosted services and deployment pipelines.
- Automation. Build efficient pipelines for deployment automation of mission-critical systems, enabling DevOps practices across development teams.
- Collaboration. Work closely with Tech Leads, System Architects, and developers to address architectural issues and enhance automation capabilities.
- Support DevOps Practices. Assist development teams in adopting best practices for frequent deployments and operational efficiency.
- Continuous Improvement. Engage in design sessions, suggest best engineering practices, and contribute to a culture of learning and sharing within the team.
- Problem-Solving. Work independently or collaboratively on complex issues and share insights to enhance team performance.
Qualifications
- Experience. 5-8 years of experience with the .NET platform and Azure DevOps, including 3 years as a cloud engineer.
- Technical Skills. Extensive knowledge of Azure services (Storage, Compute, Function Apps, Networking, etc.) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, PowerShell, ARM, Terraform).
- API Development. Experience in using and building APIs (OWASP, OpenAPI).
- Testing. Proficient in writing automated tests with a TDD approach.
- Troubleshooting. Excellent problem-solving skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Communication. Advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Fintech Background. Experience in the financial services sector is a plus.
