Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Senior Java/J2EE & SaaS Developer, you will join a global team dedicated to building IBM’s leading security solution, IBM Security Verify. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment, applying software engineering principles to develop highly scalable, reliable, and resilient SaaS solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply software engineering principles to develop end-to-end high-quality, high-performance SaaS solutions.
- Collaborate with global development teams, providing operational insights and support.
- Work in a matrix-oriented, fast-paced environment, comfortable with ambiguity.
- Design, develop, and implement cloud-based software solutions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of business analysts, developers, data scientists, and subject-matter experts.
- Possess strong programming experience in Java.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 8+ years of IT experience.
- Self-motivated individual with a minimum of five years’ experience as a software developer.
- Strong understanding of designing, developing, and implementing cloud-based software solutions.
- Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Five years of programming experience in Java.
Preferred Technical And Professional Expertise
- Proficiency in AWS and AWS certification.
- Knowledge of web services, API, REST, and RP.
