We are seeking a skilled and motivated Backend QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Backend QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our backend APIs through comprehensive testing. Key Responsibilities
- API Testing. Conduct extensive backend API testing using Rest Assured and Cucumber.
- Behavior-Driven Development (BDD). Implement and maintain BDD frameworks with Cucumber and Java to ensure clear and concise test scenarios.
- Performance and Load Testing. Design and execute performance and load tests to ensure our systems can handle high traffic and usage scenarios.
- Analytical Skills. Utilize excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, report, and troubleshoot issues.
- Attention to Detail. Maintain an investigative mindset with a strong attention to detail to ensure the highest quality of software deliverables.
Required Skills
- API Testing. Proficiency in backend API testing, primarily using Rest Assured.
- Cucumber for BDD. Experience with Cucumber and Java for behavior-driven development.
- Performance Testing. Exposure to performance and load testing tools and methodologies.
- Problem-Solving. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to Detail. High attention to detail with an investigative mindset.
