Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  1. Achieving Business Objectives. Lead the Retail Liabilities Sales Team to achieve branch-specific business objectives, focusing on value, volume, and channel productivity metrics.
  2. Revenue Generation. Drive revenue through the sale of Current Accounts (CA), cross-selling opportunities, and third-party products such as Insurance.
  3. Business Mobilization. Drive business growth for Current Accounts and Savings Accounts (CASA) through effective team management and strategic initiatives.
  4. Team Management. Recruit, train, and mentor team members regularly to ensure high performance and adherence to organizational standards.
  5. Customer Engagement. Schedule and conduct business calls with key customers, addressing any grievances promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
  6. Lead Generation. Organize and oversee various lead generation activities within the branch to expand customer base and enhance market presence.
  7. Service Quality. Ensure service quality meets or exceeds defined standards, resolving any issues promptly to uphold customer satisfaction.
  8. Compliance and Documentation. Ensure adherence to KYC norms set by RBI, overseeing proper documentation and account opening procedures.
  9. CASA Book Growth. Contribute actively towards building and expanding the Current Accounts and Savings Accounts (CASA) book size.

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Communication Skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential for effective team leadership and customer interaction.
  2. Team Management Experience. Demonstrated experience in managing and motivating a team towards achieving sales and service excellence.
  3. Educational Qualification. Graduate or Postgraduate degree with 5-8 years of relevant experience in retail banking or financial services.
  4. Customer Focus. Strong customer orientation with a proactive approach to meeting customer needs and expectations.
  5. High Energy. High energy levels coupled with a strong drive and determination to succeed in a competitive market environment.
