We are seeking a self-motivated C# Software Engineer to be part of an extraordinary bleeding edge product development team writing a fully managed-code multimedia application leveraging .NET 2.0, WinFX, WCF, WPF, XAML, and ASP.NET. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Position requires individuals who can work in a team environment to quickly develop user interface concepts and requirements, code back-end functionality to the UI implementation, develop prototypes, and create high quality production software. Position will entail developing custom interactive/on-screen controls, using and customizing third-party user interface modules, and working with our core discipline teams to develop required interfaces, motion graphics experiences, and backend functionality for implementing best in class user experience. Position will work on latest user technologies made available from Microsoft and associated vendors. You must be able to take complete ownership of a particular aspect of our current and future projects. EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: • Minimum of three years of coding experience in a product development environment. • Ideal experience is a self-motivated person who couldn’t wait to keep up with cutting-edge Microsoft development technologies and already has a good understanding and working knowledge of the latest .NET 2.0 framework, foundation libraries, WinFX API’s, WCF, WPF, XAML, and concepts for developing Window Vista applications. • Proven C# commercial application development experience using MS Windows development environments (Visual Studio 2005), languages, compilers, debuggers, linkers and operating systems across all Windows platforms. • A strong OO and C++ development background including MFC, VC++, COM and memory management is a plus, but not required. • Individuals must be highly self-motivated with a proven track record of achieving goals and meeting milestones with an ability to work individually and as part of a team. • Be familiar with multimedia concepts and technologies such as animation, visual effects, sound and video. • Proven debugging and diagnostic skills with creative problem solving ability. • Ability to learn and adapt to new API’s and environments quickly. • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with teammates. • Display a high level of excellence through your work, commitment and dedication. • Motivated self-starter who enjoys working on highly productive, fast-paced teams.
