As a Chatbot NLP Trainer, you will play a vital role in enhancing the effectiveness of chatbot interactions. This position involves curating and annotating datasets to train and improve chatbot responses, ensuring accuracy in recognizing user intents and contextual nuances.
Key Responsibilities
- Dataset Curation. Curate, organize, and annotate datasets for training and testing chatbot responses, ensuring accurate recognition of user intents and entities.
- Error Identification. Identify gaps or errors in the chatbot's existing patterns and provide insights for enhancing the NLP model's effectiveness.
- Performance Evaluation. Evaluate chatbot performance through testing and user feedback, making data-driven recommendations to refine understanding and response accuracy.
- Collaboration. Work closely with front-end engineers to provide feedback on model performance and assist in iterating on the NLP model training pipeline.
- Quality Assurance. Perform quality checks and various types of testing (e.g., k-fold, blind testing) to assess the model's intent classification accuracy.
Required Experience
- NLP & Chatbot Knowledge. 1+ years working with NLP models and/or chatbots.
- Development Landscape. Familiarity with AI/chatbot development tools and frameworks.
- Training Data Management. Experience in training or improving chatbot training data, utilizing methods to evaluate intent classification accuracy.
- Conversational AI Practices. Knowledge of best practices in conversational AI.
- CI/CD & Agile. Experience with CI/CD, Git, unit testing, and source code management, and working in an Agile environment with DevOps knowledge.
Bonus Experience
- IBM Watson. Experience with IBM Watson Assistant and IBM Voice Gateway or IBM Discovery.
- Speech Recognition. Knowledge of automated speech recognition, including SSML tagging for TTS.
