Must-Have
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience deploying vRealize Aria Automation Orchestrator 8. x in a Standalone/Multi Data Center environment.
- Extensive experience with vRealize Orchestrator to create complex workflows and integrate them with VMware Aria Automation for Software-Defined Data Centers.
- Proficiency in scripting languages: PowerShell/Bash/Python/JavaScript/YAML.
- Experience working with Operators, Actions, and Dynamic types in VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator and configuring plugins for applications like Remedy, SNOW, Azure, AWS, Commvault, etc.
- Knowledge of PowerShell execution through VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator and configurations for remote commands.
- Integration experience with DevOps and VMware toolset (VMware Aria Automation, VMware Aria Operations, VMware Aria Automation Pipelines, Jenkins, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Salt Stack, VMware Aria Automation Config, Terraform).
- Hands-on experience in migrating and upgrading VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator code.
- Development of end-to-end scenarios for complex Blueprints and integration of Orchestrator workflows.
- Experience in configuring PowerShell hosts and third-party tools exposing SOAP/REST web services.
- Knowledge of ITSM Tools: BMC Remedy/HP Service Desk/Service Now/CMDB and publishing workflows.
Good-to-Have
- Experience with versioning control tools like Git SVN.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodology.
- Development of Anything as a Service Blueprints (XaaS) and custom forms.
- Troubleshooting VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator workflows.
- Analyze customer requirements and provide automation solutions.
- Experience in creating custom plugins for third-party tools/systems.
- Knowledge of RDBMS concepts with hands-on experience in SQL/Oracle.
- Understanding of data center architecture, cloud migration, cloud management, deployments, and cloud-managed operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop use cases for Infrastructure Automation following best practices and software development lifecycle.
- Design automation solutions based on customer requirements.
- Integrate third-party systems with VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator.
- Review and modify existing workflows, provide enhancements, and develop new use cases.
- Identify and recommend frameworks and integration strategies.
- Set coding standards and provide guidance to the team.
- Coach and mentor team members, address technical challenges and stay updated on market trends.
- Contribute to the development and operations of Cloud-based platforms.
- Provide expert guidance on advancements and enhancements for VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator.

- Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
Educational Qualification

Certification Required
- VCP-CMA (VMware Certified Professional 2023 – Cloud Management and Automation)
- VCP-DCV (VMware Certified Professional 2023 – Data Center Virtualization)
