We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Cloud Security Analyst to join our dynamic IT security team. This role is critical in shaping, maintaining, and enhancing the security posture of our cloud infrastructure across multiple platforms including Azure, AWS, and Microsoft 365 (M365).
As a Cloud Security Analyst, you will play a key role in proactively identifying and mitigating risks, responding to cloud-related security incidents, and designing scalable and compliant cloud security solutions that align with industry best practices and organizational policies. Your expertise will directly contribute to safeguarding our data, maintaining customer trust, and supporting compliance with leading frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage security controls for Azure, AWS, and M365 environments.
- Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and risk evaluations of cloud infrastructure.
- Monitor security alerts, investigate incidents, and perform root cause analyses with appropriate remediation.
- Collaborate with DevOps and cloud engineering teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.
- Provide guidance on access control, identity and access management (IAM), data encryption, and secure configuration of cloud resources.
- Develop and enforce cloud security policies and standards based on compliance requirements (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS benchmarks).
- Stay up to date with evolving threats, vulnerabilities, and regulatory requirements impacting cloud environments.
- Prepare and deliver reports on cloud security posture and recommend improvements to senior stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in cloud security, including securing infrastructure and applications in cloud-native and hybrid environments.
- Strong technical expertise in at least two major cloud platforms, Microsoft Azure and AWS.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 security tools and controls, including Defender, Conditional Access, and Compliance Center.
- Familiarity with security operations, SIEM, SOAR tools, and cloud-native monitoring solutions (e.g., Azure Sentinel, AWS CloudTrail, GuardDuty).
- Solid grasp of networking fundamentals, firewalls, VPNs, DNS, and zero-trust architecture principles.
- Practical understanding of identity federation, multi-factor authentication (MFA), OAuth, SAML, and Azure AD.
- Experience working in regulated industries or with compliance mandates such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS is a plus.
