Responsibilities
- Design, Development, Testing, and Support. Contribute to major and dot software releases, focusing on design, development, testing, and support for Print and Scan technologies.
- Collaboration and Feature Evaluation. Collaborate with product marketing to evaluate and resolve new features. Act as a proactive self-starter developing methods and techniques for obtaining results.
- Leadership and Mentorship. Provide leadership within the division, acting as a mentor to engineers. Be a specialist on one or more platforms, addressing broad architecture and design issues.
- Strategic Direction. Contribute significantly to the development and application of sophisticated concepts, technologies, and expertise within the team. Provide strategic direction in evaluating new technologies in your area of expertise.
Requirements
- B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from a best-in-class institute.
- 7 to 10 years of hands-on design/development experience.
- Proficient in C/C++ assembly, data structure, and algorithms.
- Good understanding of object-oriented design and knowledge of product life cycles.
- Knowledge of application development on multiple platforms, including various flavors of Windows and Macintosh.
- Excellent computer science fundamentals and a good understanding of architecture, design, and performance.
- Must have excellent communication skills and be familiar with working in a fast-paced global environment.
