As a Computer Scientist, you will play a critical role in designing and developing key components of our cloud platform. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of projects, from initial design through to development, testing, and maintenance. This role requires expertise in creating scalable, high-performance solutions and a deep understanding of cloud technologies and programming practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Development. Design and develop core components such as Cache, Storage, and Databases. Focus on creating highly available, low-latency solutions that meet cloud vendor-neutral standards.
- Project Lifecycle Management. Oversee the complete lifecycle of projects, including user story development, design, coding, testing, documentation, and maintenance.
- Performance and Security. Ensure that solutions meet high performance and security standards. Validate latency, throughput, and availability.
- Programming. Utilize Java and the Spring Framework for development, adhering to best practices in secure and standards-compliant coding.
- Collaboration. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that components integrate seamlessly with Adobe’s broader technology ecosystem.
Qualifications
- Educational Background. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science with an excellent academic record.
- Experience. Proven expertise in designing, building, and evolving large-scale, complex software projects.
- Cloud Expertise. Demonstrable experience in developing scalable cloud-based services, specifically on AWS.
- Programming Skills. Strong programming skills in Java, with experience in the Spring Framework.
- Problem-Solving. Excellent problem-solving abilities with a strong focus on performance optimization and security.
- Communication. Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Adaptability. Self-motivated with a passion for learning new technologies and adapting to new requirements and environments.
