Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute Gartner’s data strategy by designing and developing cloud-based, scalable products and automation solutions.
  • Architect and implement high-performance data pipelines, ensuring scalability, reusability, and operational efficiency.
  • Integrate data from multiple sources—ranging from on-premise databases to external APIs—using RESTful services and harvesting tools.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and internal partners to understand requirements and translate them into meaningful data-driven products.
  • Work closely with data scientists and analysts to build intuitive front-end applications that support decision-making through data visualization and interaction.
  • Contribute to innovation projects leveraging Gen AI and Machine Learning pipelines, ensuring Gartner stays ahead of the curve in data innovation.

Required Skills & Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
  • 2–5 years of hands-on experience in cloud-based product development (Azure preferred, AWS acceptable).
  • Deep knowledge of Python with proven experience using libraries like PySpark, FastAPI, Pandas, Numpy.
  • Familiarity with Azure services including Databricks, Azure Batch, or equivalent solutions in AWS.
  • Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, design patterns, and scalable architecture best practices.
  • Solid grasp of data structures, data integration, and performance tuning.
  • Experience working with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL/Oracle), including writing SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
  • Exposure to MLOps tools and practices (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • A problem-solving mindset with excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
