- Analyze complex data sets to derive meaningful insights that drive business decisions.
- Develop and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms to solve specific business problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable solutions.
- Visualize data findings using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Perform data cleaning and preprocessing to ensure high-quality data for analysis.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in data science to continuously enhance methodologies and practices.
Core Skills
- Strong knowledge of statistics and probability theory. Ability to apply statistical methods to analyze data and interpret results.
- Programming proficiency. Experience in at least one programming language such as Python, R, or SQL.
- Data visualization expertise. Familiarity with tools such as Tableau or PowerBI to present data insights clearly and effectively.
- Machine learning understanding. Knowledge of various machine learning algorithms and their applications.
- Data cleaning and preprocessing techniques. Skills in preparing and transforming raw data into a usable format.
