We are seeking a Data Scientist to join our team, responsible for conducting advanced analytics to generate actionable business insights. In this role, you will build, test, and refine medium complexity analytics models that encompass descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive statistics. You will leverage your expertise in data mining, statistical modeling, and big data to support critical business decision-making processes. Your responsibilities will include identifying and setting up new data sources, as well as cleaning and organizing data to ensure high-quality insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Mining and Analysis. Utilize modern tools and programming languages to mine data. Develop algorithms, conduct small-scale experiments, and create data-driven applications to translate data into actionable intelligence.
- Model Development. Apply predictive modeling, statistics, and other analytical techniques to collect, explore, interpret, and extract insights from both structured and unstructured data.
- Model Implementation. Support the implementation of models to uncover patterns and predictions that drive business value and foster innovation.
- Data Visualization. Collaborate with the team to create compelling data stories using visualization tools and methods.
- Data Accuracy and Compliance. Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of cleansed data.
- Problem Solving. Work with project teams to understand problem statements, initiatives, and business directions.
- Continuous Learning. Stay updated with the latest technology and trends in the data science domain.
- Communication. Collaborate with project teams to provide progress updates and resolve issues. Support priority projects by maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and delivering standardized reports.
Education & Experience
- Degree. Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. Equivalent work experience or demonstrated competence will also be considered.
- Experience. Typically 0-2 years of experience in data analytics, statistical modeling, machine learning, or a related field.
Preferred Certifications
- Programming Language Certifications (e.g., SQL, Python)

- Technical Expertise. Algorithms, Big Data, Data Analysis, Data Mining, Data Science, Data Visualization, Machine Learning, Predictive Modeling, and Statistical Modeling.
- Programming Languages. Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL.
