As a Delphi Developer at PureSoftware, you'll be responsible for end-to-end application development, including UI, Business, and Data layers. You'll work closely with our team of engineers and developers, ensuring collaborative problem-solving, next-generation design, and the delivery of quality products.
Experience. Minimum 8+ years, with 6+ years in Software Development using Delphi and SQL Server.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop applications using the latest Delphi technology, with expertise in Delphi-11 and Delphi 7, ADO, and REST API’s.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on different layers of the infrastructure.
- Adhere to organizational guidelines and processes, ensuring effective design, development, validation, and support activities.
- Utilize debugging tools to analyze software defects and implement changes.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Work in an Agile environment, ensuring timely delivery under time constraints.
Must-Have Skills and Experience
- Solid working knowledge of Delphi, Database, ADO, Delphi-11, Delphi 7, XML.
- Extensive experience with Delphi classes/functions, VCL library, and Dev Express library.
- Familiarity with Delphi component architecture and development of package libraries.
- Expertise in Object-Oriented Design, Programming, and Analysis.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with version control systems like Perforce and tools like JIRA.
- Solid experience with MS SQL Server (Query Analyzer, Profiler, Traces), T-SQL, and Windows administration.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with C#, .Net Core, and ASP.NET.
- Knowledge of Apache ActiveMQ/Artemis message broker and Apache Camel under Karaf.
